Family-Run with a Personal Touch

Brambley Lodge is led by sisters Sarah and Emma. As working mums who once entrusted their own children to their nursery, they know how important high-quality, dependable child care is.

Dedicated, Qualified,
and Passionate Staff

We set ourselves a high standard—and we expect no less from our team. All staff (except apprentices currently training) hold at least NVQ Level 3 qualifications, with many qualified at Level 4 or degree level.

Our Nursery Apprentices are supported every step of the way by experienced mentors.

You can be confident that your child is in skilled, caring hands.

A True Partnership with Parents

We believe childcare works best when parents are fully involved. That’s why we’ve built a culture of open communication and collaboration:

Famly - our nursery App, keeps you informed about everything your child gets up to during their time at nursery; it also provides the perfect tool for your feedback
Regular Parent Evenings – a chance to discuss your child’s progress face-to-face.
Questionnaires & Suggestion Box – we actively invite your opinions and ideas.
Hands-On Involvement – from joining us on outings to visiting to play musical instruments with the children; we love it when families get involved in nursery life.

Following the
Early Years
Foundation
Stage (EYFS)

Everything we do is guided by the EYFS framework, which supports your child’s learning and development across seven key areas:
1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development
2. Physical Development
3. Communication and Language
4. Literacy
5. Mathematics
6. Understanding the World
7. Expressive Arts and Design

We carefully select equipment, design environments, and plan activities with these principles in mind—so that your child is always supported, challenged, and encouraged to explore according to their individual needs.

Your Child's Online Learning Journey

We use Famly, a secure and easy-to-use App, to record and share your child’s daily activities and development:

Real-Time Updates – see photos, observations, and milestones as they happen.

• Parent Contributions Welcome – we love it when you upload your own observations from home, whether it’s a special moment or a simple everyday win.

• Working Together on ‘Next Steps’ – we collaborate with you to set meaningful goals for your child’s learning, and plan how we’ll achieve them together.

Child-Led and
Child-Centered

At Brambley Lodge, your child’s thoughts, feelings, and ideas are at the heart of everything we do.

Whether it’s helping choose activity themes or re-naming rooms, we encourage their input and celebrate their independence.

We see every child as a capable learner with unique interests and potential—and we’re here to nurture that, every step of the way.
