Don’t just take our word for it. Hear directly from our team
about their experiences working at Brambley Lodge Nursery.
During my time at Brambley Lodge I have been supported by the owners and management team to push myself to develop and be the best practitioner that I can be. Consequently, I have progressed from Nursery Practitioner to Room Leader to now being Nursery Supervisor and SENDCo. Throughout my progression, I have been given the opportunity to attend training and share feedback with the team as well as putting my new knowledge into practice by providing children with a variety of experiences to enable them to reach their full potential. Due to being new to the SENDCo role I have been encouraged to begin a level 3 course in the role of the SENDCo which I am so far really enjoying and have been supported by the whole team in doing this.

Working as a Nursery Practitioner at Brambley Lodge is great. After 13 years of childcare I still enjoy watching the children grow and develop, ready to take on the next step into school life. It’s great to play a part in their journey and to be appreciated by management and families for even the small things.

Brambley Lodge is unique because we aim to create a warm, safe and supportive environment where it feels like a home from home for everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. Staff are well supported through shared activity ideas, staff meetings, peer observations and ongoing recognition. It’s a positive, team-focused environment where we all work together to give every child the best start in life.

I’ve been working at Brambley Lodge for almost a year and it is a fantastic experience. Coming in every day and working with a group of people who devote their days to educating children, never fails to amaze me.

I primarily work in the office, and behind the scenes, but sometime have an opportunity to be a part of their event, or a sing song that needs an audience. I can absolutely say that I love my job and appreciate every day the work that goes into running a successful nursery, great team work.
Deb
I love working at Brambley Lodge and enjoy all the fun we have with the children! Being located within the school grounds means that we have the security and easy transition to school but also, more importantly, we can easily access everything our local community and natural outdoors offers, right from our doorstep.

As a staff member, I feel valued and supported by the managers and staff team that I work with, we share ideas and lots of laughs together!

Working as a Nursery Supervisor at Brambley Lodge has been an incredibly fulfilling journey both personally and professionally. From the moment I joined the team, I’ve felt fully supported in my role – through regular training opportunities, collaborative team discussions, and the encouragement to grow and develop my skills.

South Cave is a warm and welcoming community and I feel proud to be a part of a nursery that reflects those same values. There is a warm, supportive environment where I feel heard, appreciated and proud to be part of the team.
Leah
My journey at Brambley Lodge has been really rewarding. I started as a Nursery Practitioner and, with continued support, progressed to a Nursery Supervisor and now Manager. All roles have come with their challenges (some greater than others!) but with the support and guidance of the owners and team around me, I have learned and developed along the way.

Working with children in such a lovely setting is never taken for granted – we have a castle, library, fields, park and a duck pond within easy walking distance – nor, are the bowling, meals out and team days we all do together!
